Get Out of My Apple!by deadd0gComment by GRAMMArosie: the only part of this picture that shows as an apple is the foreground. I find the fleshy part of the apple looks like it is very juicy is it a granny smith apple? |

Printer Malfunction!by deadd0gComment by ellamay: Greetings from the CC, the idea here is not bad however technically I have a few thoughts. Keep in mind the backgrounds of what you are shooting, i.e. in this shot it would of been eay to move the chair so it is not in the frame. Shooting on aperature priority (if possible) or portrait mode would create a greater depth of field allowing us to focus more on the subject than the extraneous details. A central compostion is very hard to pull off IMO, moving your subject off to left or right can do lots to add a bit of interest to a shot. Also IMO i think you need to be careful with borders, sometimes they can enhance an image, other times they detract from it, really need to ask self which you would like to accomplish.
just some thoughts, hope it helps.
p.s. I admire your willingness to set a printer on fire for a shot! |
