Re the title - I was in a hurry, I had a title but obviously didn't click "update" :-(. My bad.
Re the halo - I have no idea where it comes from, personally I also hate it :-))).
I didn't sharpen at all, but I used NIK (I think)to add a little drama to the whole thing. The clouds were very flat in the original.

wow, I thought this would ribbon. I guess DPC really hates halos. Except when they don't.

I really like this one. Title seems a missed opportunity. I'd suggest "Jacob's ladder."

Fairly strong composition idea, yet the white halos along the ladder edges, often caused by sharpening technique, reduc the impact. Although I look at a title only after viewing an image, I do find that a thoughtful title can enhance the artistic impression much more than allowing the default file name to display (even "Untitled" can often be stronger than a file name).

Thank you Sandy, Its a bit "arty" for dpc, but I thought the technical voters would like it ... :-). It was fun making in any case, I never used the in camera double exposure before.

Introspection!?! That is the least relaxing thing in the whole entire world!!!!!!!!

Very cool photo, though. Have to figure out what to do with this. Coming back to vote later. If I voted on how I thought it fit relaxation, the vote would be lower than how I'd vote the photo without a topic.

The two things are fighting with one another.

And it's not relaxing me! :P
