Nice IR image. Great sharpness. The highlights are a bit blown out and there is a lot of colour noise in the background. Have you tried this as a b&w image - that would have reduced the noise. You can actually convert this into grey scale and then apply colour like sepia or other tones virtually eliminating colour noise.

oh, how i'd rather be there than here! this looks like an incredible place to shoot, one that will offer endless possibilities. i am curious, though, at what you wanted to convey with this image? the canoe would make a nice subject, but it is not positioned to really be the subject. the background is gorgeous, but doesn't really support the subject. it's obvious that you have decent equipment and good processing software. maybe you just need to work on composing images that really grab viewers attention and give them reason to pause and stay? if you aren't getting the comments and scores you want out of this challenge, please don't take it personally. just consider it a good starting point for the rest of the year. just keep on shooting and submitting, and i am quite sure you will get where you want to be! good luck with this and the challenges yet to come!
