interesting unique take on the challenge, I dontthink anyone else has blurred food. Nice idea but the whole thing is too busy for me, the blurred food is lost against the cluttered background.

Very nice composition, your picture really does look like it could be on the cover of Cooking Light. I think it might have even been better if the bread were in focus and the food didn't look a bit congealed.

Very nice job on this--with the glass table, and the legs showing beneath, I'm sure it was a lot of cloning work. But I couldn't find any "gaps". Next time though it might be good to get rid of that bag on the left!

Hey, you took my idea!!!!! :) I thought of doing this shot(s) too. However, with a lot of details in the shot(s). Ie: Smoke, beer, potato chips.....poker chips.....hanging light over the table, green table cloth...the whole works..to make it real. I have to admit it's fun to do such shots. I have a couple myself...happy shooting!

on my monitor, this looks distinctly red. i am getting "?red?" comments on mine as well so i don't want to be too critical on this point. nice composition, great lighting.
