Very nice composition, your picture really does look like it could be on the cover of Cooking Light. I think it might have even been better if the bread were in focus and the food didn't look a bit congealed.

Looks yummy and fulfills the requirements of a magazine cover - vertical format and space within the picture where type could be overlaid.

This sure makes me hungry! This is a wonderful food shot that could easitly be on the cover of a magazine. Great focus, lighting and color. I like the set up a lot.

The top of the plate is well lit. Some fill lighting is needed to light the underside of the plate, in my opinion. I think it would have added some more color which contrasts very nicely with the noodles.

The meal looks scrumptious! Great Job!

Good vibrant color on the food, which is always important in cooking magazines. The background seems a little close (a dof thing that you may or may not have had control over), and the slice of bread also starts to go OOF and blend in with the background. There also seems to be some noise in the salt/pepper that could be either because of the lighting conditions or an increase in saturation. To eliminate the background problem I would have eliminated the background itself, but of course that may not have looked as good either, hard to know unless it's been tried. A very colorful shot.

Thats a very cool shot, looks wonderful. Not sure if the s & p need to be so close...or even there at all...but its an awesome shot that makes the food look deliciuos.

Food too bright, tone down the flash a bit. Use candle light or various lamps to light the food from all angles. Also, I'd use a 4.0 aperature or greater to help blur the background more.

Background is noisy. Like the spacing and lighting.

Great detail, I like the lighting. I would definitely see this on a magazine. 9
