Rusted Gate Wheelby TommyMoe21Comment by KaDi: Interesting rusted gate. The cropping could be improved--the right hand third of the photo conveys little of interest to me. I understand the point of view was probably chosen to eliminate a distracting background but perhaps it also needs a more limited depth of field. A little oversharped? |

Back Scratcherby TommyMoe21Comment by melismatica: I like that you used an infinite depth of field (at least it seems that way) to really flatten the shape of the pasta scoop to an abstract form. Good use of bold, contrasting color and pattern. It doesn't wow me but it works. |

Early Light On Willow Lake, Lombard, IL.by TommyMoe21Comment by GeneralE: I'm not used to seeing those willows with that light/bright a color (early growth?), so it looks a little odd that way. Lovely pastoral setting, I find willows very photogenic. Good decision to fill the sky with the branches, but I think I'd take away the evidence of the shoreline from the lower-left by trimming a tiny bit from the laft and bottom. |
