Do like the effect of the backlighting on the main subject....would very much like to see this edited without all the intervening dark flowers that add nothing and are a distraction in this.....ahhh the joys of the DPC rules. Where's my migraine pills. BTW if you do edit this I would like it with the bit of blue and the trees in the upper right corner. 7

Does not meet the challenge. A still life is a picture of an object or group of objects arranged to communicate ideas of color, form, tone, texture and composition. Still lifes are inanimate.

I like the effect on the flower here; I am less enamoured with the composition including the sun. I think if you had just composed the flower in the shot, with a nice dark contrasting background, this would have been a contender!

Nice use o shadows. It apear to be behind a curtain. The sun´s angle an motion rays are so singular. Great picture.
