i made 30 origami paper boats and stuck candles in them and tried to sail them down it on a long exposure for the candles challenge, there were a few problems i had to launch them from the bank on the right, which is about a 3 metres deep and the wond just blew them back at me :) plus it a reservoir and there are all kind of terrorist legislation about putting stuff in it :)

they roar with a deafening thunder when the are in flood, very loud and scary

The drainage structure is a work of art. Makes for a very good photographic subject. I have a mountain, which I'd photograph all the time, if I didn't think it would be voted down because people recognize it and hate me. You're lucky to be a popular member so you can photograph this dozens of times without penalty.

The hole never gets old for me, so don't let that enter your head. Always very cool and wonder. I agree with Nam... kind of scary looking. There's a mystery book somewhere in there.
