There are many things about this photo that set the mood tone - not just the lighting. The surroundings of your subject, his posture - he almost looks dejected, sad. The lighting really helps pull that feeling in. I do have 2 picks though - I wish the shadow weren't so prominant at the bottom of the image and it seems a little too sharp. Nice work creating an emotive feeling. :-)
