Free spirit by heidaComment by adine: This is very playful, but subtle with its muted pastel colors. I love the peacful gray/blue of the ocean and the sky, and the swinging pink of her top and her arms spread wide. Simple, sweet, a favorite of mine this challenge. |

Free spirit by heidaComment by drewmedia: The greyish cool color cast on this photo really evokes a nostalgic emotion. I really enjoy this photo. |

Free spirit by heidaComment by lagavulin: While several attempted this concept, yours is the one that succeeds. Lovely desaturated colours. I do find two elements of the image distracting - the dead center horizon line, and her tattoo; I would consider fixing by recropping and cloning.

Free spirit by heidaComment by hfngotphoto: Nice Composition, <== That was my first comment. Now I'll tell you what I really think. I should have given it a 10, simply because, "Freedom, really is the ability, to be a Free spirit". Congratulations for a very expressive photograph. I like the tatoo, in fact it further shows the free spirit of the subject. The foamy surf looks nearly perfect in motion as does the water off her foot. The perfectly flat unobstructed horizon line again, doesn't distract from the subject. The pastels blend very well. Congratulations! Message edited by author 2004-07-20 18:41:50. |
