Airborn Rescueby frumoazniculComment by photographist: Nice concept... the hellicopter actually overwhelms the trama team, especially the rear roter. For me, my eyes keep drifting to the roter, not staying on the team. I wish there was more of a feeling of intimacy here.
Good luck and keep up the good work! |

Airborn Rescueby frumoazniculComment by adine: Good job being in the right place at the right time, I like the way the bright red of the helecopter frames the people - and having them off to the right side of the frame implies their need to move quickly. Positioning the composition this way you've minimalized the distraction of the onlookers, the building, and trees - our eyed go right to the helecopter and down the the streatcher. I wish I could see the epressions on the faces of the "heros" better - but that is just the limitation of the subject. |

November Trainby frumoazniculComment by Blackdog: A nice idea,s elective de-sat? The leaves have also lost their colour and therefore their punch which leaves the whole thing looking a bit flat. A change of veiwpoint would improve the shot, in my opinion. Tighter in to loose the footpath, lower down to emphasize the train and slightly left to loose some of the distrcting background. When composing a shot like this where you have plenty of time, use it and have a good look around the veiwfinder and make sure only the things you want in the shot can be seen. Well done though, a six from me. |

November Trainby frumoazniculComment by Artyste: Too dark for me. I don't know if a longer exposure would have helped, or if metering in a darker area would have helped for in-camera.. possibly both.
The train just fades into the background too much, taking away the focal point. Also, there just seems to be too much space around it as well, to my view. |

November Trainby frumoazniculComment by Kylie: I love the leaves all gathered around the train - terrific find. The red tones seem to have grabbed some areas too strongly or in splotches that I personally find distracting and really hurting the photgraph. Just an opinion. |
