I cannont believe this didn't do better. It honestly was my choice for a ribbon.

Includes several composition elements which make this better than straight photojournalism; I like the repeating circles (rear prop, logo, exhaust), straight lines (stripes, prop blades) and slanting lines (stablizer and red jacket). Reminiscent of the opening scenes from M*A*S*H.

returning for comments:
Certainly heroes of the first caliber. Bumping up as this is a great action shot.

Nice concept... the hellicopter actually overwhelms the trama team, especially the rear roter. For me, my eyes keep drifting to the roter, not staying on the team. I wish there was more of a feeling of intimacy here.
Good luck and keep up the good work!

Good job being in the right place at the right time, I like the way the bright red of the helecopter frames the people - and having them off to the right side of the frame implies their need to move quickly. Positioning the composition this way you've minimalized the distraction of the onlookers, the building, and trees - our eyed go right to the helecopter and down the the streatcher. I wish I could see the epressions on the faces of the "heros" better - but that is just the limitation of the subject.
