I would have cropped out the tree as it doesn't add to this portrait. The natural framing from the cloth is enough, IMHO.

I think you would be better off with more space on the right and lesser on left. the left is just darker cloth which doesn't add to the picture

Very lovely Mambe. Composition is great with 1/3's of tree, shawl, and you. Nice natural skin tones with your eyes that look right at me. Good luck with this wonderful self portrait!

Congrats on the top 50. I am very surprised (and disappointed) that this didn't make the top 10! This was one of the best in the challenge. Nice work! I gave this a 9, but didn't get a comment in earlier. The smoothness of the tones and the emotion in the artist are outstanding.

Beautiful!! The color of her garments really brings out her eyes which are very pretty. The only thing...her skin tones seem a little splotchy.
