This is a nice shot, but the image is very obviously ruined by jpegging at too low a quality. If you look at the sky is looks blocky and pixilated. I notice the image is only 13kb. DPC allows you 150kb to play with, so it may be worth creating a larger image to improve quality.

When you decided that this subject would be your choice for the �Still Life� challenge, how many different photos did you make to try to find the best perspective? How many different lighting options did you try to see how light changes could change the mood of the photo? I believe that some considerations of these elements could have helped you create a higher impact photo.

A better selection of colors would make this subject look better. They don't mix well.
