One of my first entries was something with lines. Someone commented something like "if you're going to enter this, the lines need to be squared up to go far here".

At that time I thought he/she was "nitpicking", but now I see that it was right.

The top is straight, but the bottom is "off"... and it really does matter to the viewer, even if he doesn't know it.

Lovely idea. And it's a great simile.
