A Tutorial by Samantha_TComment by njsabs: I don't agree on the DQ on this image at all. I feel the features were enhanced.....not necessarily added.....that line which is crossed with editing is different for everyone.....unfortunately.......thus it remains a gray area, and can always be disputed either way. |

Skin smoothing, tone shifting I see; adding make-up I do not see.
There are no shadings present in the after that are not there in the before (emphasised or toned down some, but not created from nothing). |
The eye lashes on her left eye towards the temple definitely were not there on the left shot, so this is added, and in my point of view the DQ is okay, considering the rules.
DQ or no DQ - I still think it's a great job that was done here, and a nice take on the challenge topic. |

A Tutorial by Samantha_TComment by littlemav: hummm I don't agree with the DQ, It's the quintessential before and after portrait shot! Ask any 40+ lady what they want, truth or PS... I know I'll pick PS EVERY TIME!!!! |

wait, if they mean the dark mascara-like like, that already exists, she is wearing make-up, it just may not have been 100% completely across the eye, but it was there. mon dieu, this sucks! Message edited by author 2014-12-02 15:12:44. |
