Surrounded By My Friendsby drgsoellComment by geewhy: Personally, I like partial desat shots but there are many who will score it down because they reckon it has taken the attention away from the subject.I think it does quite the opposite.

Surrounded By My Friendsby drgsoellComment by photom: Fun! It's a wonderful and colorful setup with great exposure - producing a nice feel. My on;y complaint is that your model doesn't exactly portray the feeling it deserves. Evenso, it's one of the stonger enties. |

Surrounded By My Friendsby drgsoellComment by awpollard: Neat idea, I may have gone the other way having the childs face in color and all the surroundings done in b/w (and possibly blurred a bit). That would insure we are steered to the center of picture. As it stands the surrounding are much to colorful and festive to not have the eyes wander to look at. |
