I really like the idea, DOF, and contrasts. The b&w gives a very dramatic and somber feel to the photo. One of the better ones I've seen thus far.... 8

The high level of contrast doesn't work well with the distracting nature of the elements in the photo. It ends up being really hard to figure out what is going on.

I also put an hour glass in my submission - True to the challenge headline of waiting. I also felt that it showed the process of time in keeping with the challenge. Not many have done that. Well done, I like the theme of yours as well.
8/10 reduced from a 9/10 because of the dark patch in front, I feel it takes away from your composition and distracts the eye.
