Icy Cosmosby flip89Comment by cbeller: **Critique Club**
Hi Ken!
Positives:
Meets the challenge well. I like the line of the shore running up right to left. The natural lighting is good.
Possible Improvements:
There is no real contrasting colors here, so the photo looks rather dull. Maybe bumping up the levels and saturation just a tad would help. Seems to have a bit of noise and might be over-sharpened just a bit, as well.
Hope you find this critique helpful. Look forward to seeing your future entries.
Regards,
Chris |

Day-to-day HIV/AIDS Pharmacopoeiaby flip89Comment by banmorn: The idea of this is quite poignant and the mundaity severe. However, the image accentuates the mundane and does not make it look particulary extraordinary. I think BW was not the way to go and that the various colors of the drugs might have made it look less mundane. But trying to make this particular subject look other than mundane is quite, thankfully, beyond me. |

Day-to-day HIV/AIDS Pharmacopoeiaby flip89Comment by dagaleaa: The title of this photo gives it a lot of emotional appeal.....I guess taking so many pills daily would become very mundane...not to mention sad, but I look at the positive aspect that they are helping.......nice approach and composition...I also like it in black & white....much more powerful |
