How did you manage with a tripod :)
What lens did you use?
I chased one around the pond today and I had to hand hold my shots.
He was hiding on the Cattail in my pond out of the shade and heat.

IMG_8215 copy2.jpgby ButterflySisComment by tsheets: Nice composition, and interesting colors in the flower. I do wish the DOF was much deeper to include the front petals through at least the center of the flower, with only the farthest petals falling off the focal plane. |

IMG_8092 copy.jpgby ButterflySisComment by tsheets: I like it. The trees and foliage framing the waterfall really give you a sense of discovering a hidden pool. I may play with a little dodging/saturation to really open up the center area, but not so much to spoil the natural beauty. |

I think this would be even better if you could successfully clone out the dark balloon on the left. There were certainly many there! I've enjoyed looking at all the balloon shots. |
