Forgotten Peopleby browntComment by adine: Wonderful, meaningful effect having the people walking by - you feel the motion perfectly. The fence frames the other side of your subject and works visually and thematically - he is fenced in my people's blindness. Having your suject so dark, and placed one third of the way in fro the right balances the composition, gives space for the movement of passers-by which is the other subject of the picture. Well done. I'd like to see what it would look like with the distance darkened up a bit - the brightness is a bit distracting. 9 |

Forgotten Peopleby browntComment by pcody: I'm tempted to ask if this is the same man/dog that was posted in the forums a while ago. But that doesn't matter. I love how the people motion really isolates your subjects to reinforce your title. The length of the line of people makes me think of time also, like how long will people ignore the homeless. This is just a wonderful journalistic image. Hope you are paying him for his help. |

Forgotten Peopleby browntComment by Natator: Wonderful. Love the motion blur vs the crispness of the homeless person. Great choice of b&W as well. |

Forgotten Peopleby browntComment by Catherine: I am very impressed with this photograph. The clarity of the sitting man against the motion of the moving people is very compelling. I see the subject as "left behind" and can certainly see it tying into some form of NG scenario. Technically, the only thing I can see is that the background may be a tad too white, a tad too contrasted, but I believe that is a matter of personal taste. One of my highest scores this challenge. |

Forgotten Peopleby browntComment by geewhy: I really like this sort of shot and have been trying to come up with a similar idea for previous challenges.
Great work |
