lovely candid looking shot, so easy to see so many different threads being pulled here - the contemplative head, the clenched fist, the supportive yet ready to defend with hand, the statue talking as if he is wrestling with his conscience, the implied confessional booth, the notbook behind him - a journal of victories and misgivings perhaps? |
