four-elementsby mariucaComment by nam: Nice time of day for a shot and the scope of this cityscape is impressive. Lower half of the sky is pretty but the sky is unremarkable otherwise, the dark foliage and building don't do much for me either. I actually expect more nature and less man-made in a landscape.
Commenting only at this point - accepting Melethia's challenge; yours is image #9 in my random display order. |

temptationby mariucaComment by Pangurban: Good capture for the challenge. I think I'd have liked it a little brighter - a little too shadowy for my tastes |

!.travel-to-Oaxacaby mariucaComment by daisydavid: I favour the first photo and the el-sindicato the most, at least for the moment, commitment is always a challenge when there is so much on offer. To quote I.N.E. Giardina :17 May 2015 6:35:50pm The position that it is not possible to imagine oneself into a radically distinct phenomenal position places a kind of ontology objectivity pertaining to kinds of mental content such as imagination. That is a kind of mental content shares no properties with another mental content qua self is a functionalist account on self [sic]. One of the underpinning primal motivations of artists, at least I believe, is the search for and into the other. To quote again So being part of an -imagined community- of perceiving inter-subjective selves needs an epistemic community, like being part of an enclave. I think you and you work are, like many others here, a fine example of that enclave. A delightful essay. Message edited by author 2015-05-23 19:48:38. |
