Sorry. This image just did not stand out for me. That dull sky (not your fault) didn't help. Also, Fractals usually show a more consistent discernible pattern. This is more irregular. Maybe you could have cropped it in a little to identify the pattern you wish to exemplify?

I had a feeling this was yours, Stunning image, composition perfect, pleasing subject and great processing. BTW 2nd place isn't exactly losing :0) Look on the bright side...you gave me a run for my money. I will let you have the ribbon race this year. I have an entry which will most likely tank in the black and white landscape but I like it, after that I have nothing until the extended editing. Looking forward to having a big break and entering only what takes my fancy. All the best with your health and your photography.

Excellent capture. The lighting helps to accent his upper body hair and face. Perfect DOF. Very majestic. Definite top 3 in my opinion.
