Painted Mandalaby RoosterComment by Kavey: With such an intricate pattern painted on the feet a completely plain floor surface would be much much better. Ignoring that carpet pattern, the composition (position of feet within frame etc) works well. |

Painted Mandalaby RoosterComment by melismatica: This needs a simpler background which doesn't compete with the painted designs. A sandy beach would have been appropriate.
Edited post-voting Hi there...I'm sorry my comment was kind of blunt and overly critical sounding.
My feelings about this image were that her feet were gorgeous and the painting was beautifully done but the rather busy carpet tends to compete with the painted elements. My instinct was that you chose the carpet to enhance the Eastern theme of the mandala and I should have made it clear that I was aware you had made a specific choice. My opinion is that an outdoors, natural background (my instinct says sand or sand and water) would have emphasized the organic,free-spirited quality of the woman who belongs to these lovely feet. Painted Mandalaby RoosterComment by Loki: Wow, those are beautifully painted feet. How long did that take to do? I really enjoy the contrast between the feet and rug. Wonderful shot. |

Boo!by RoosterComment by Imagineer: Intriguing subject - focus is too shallow and colours are bland and washed out. The dirt on the features is off-putting. |

New Revolutionby RoosterComment by soccerdad: The small car doesn't draw quite enough attention. Maybe under the tire looking out? Other than that, this is well done. Color and focus on both cars is great. |
