Emerging Demonby RoosterComment by joebok: The challenge said the bokeh should "enhance" the subject - not scare it! But anyway - a well done and thought-provoking image. |

Emerging Demonby RoosterComment by umbris: Very creative and haunting image. The foreground model has a pronounced halo, almost as if the image was extracted and then placed into another image. Probably not the case, but it does take away from an otherwise near perfect capture. |

Emerging Demonby RoosterComment by mycelium: Good use of selective desat. The guy in the red hoodie is apparently left-handed, which makes him look a little weird, because images of people "about to swing" often feature the thing to be swung above the right shoulder. But that may be neither here nor there. |

Emerging Demonby RoosterComment by ahaze: The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? For this particular image I'd say no. The desaturation of the subject makes this a more interesting shot. |

Emerging Demonby RoosterComment by brianlh: wonderful shot.. i'm sure you'll get grilled on whether or not this is actually bokeh, but i'll just go ahead and leave it at my first comment. |
