Somehow I missed seeing this image. I love the antler sheds! Did you find these yourself? It's always exciting when you stumble across some while out in the field / woodlands. I've only found a few myself.

Nice job on maintaining the pure whites on this, and I also enjoy the way you presented the collection. Well done!

Love watching herons hunt/stalk for food. So stealthy and dedicated to their mission. This may be one of the blueist (sp?) herons I've seen. We get them at our pond once in a while, but it's darn near impossible to get close enough for a photo. Best place for us is at the river, where you can get a little closer. Not quite the intimate setting like this one though.

You could add an extender to that 200/2.8 and still get a fair amount of light. A 1.4x would give you 280/F4 (I think). Just a thought.

Everything just seems to be a bit out of focus and therefore lacking in finer detail and the main subject is too far away and so small. 5
