i think it's interesting, but would be better with a little less movement (maybe only a quarter of what you have here, just a slight blur). i think the lighting and coloring a just right, and that you could use a little more room at the bottom. keep in mind, one of the key elements of impressionism was to portray a glimpse; that is what was behind the short, light strokes that left a quick impression, as opposed to a detailed study.

What wonderful richness of texture and colour created solely by movement of the camera. You have chosen just the right composition/ distance to the subject to make this work. This is exactly the kind of image I'd buy as a greeting card.

I think there is too much negatvie space in this picture. Maybe a different crop would have worked better. Just my opinion.

I really love the way the light strikes the mountain, dark then light then dark then light again, followed by the misty look in the background. Really an above-average fall color shot.
