Complementary Flowby NeilComment by rwouthuis: I'm really curious to know how this photo is scoring. I personally like it very much. I'm a fan of this kind of a shot. The colours are nice and do fit into the challenge (although the red does seem to fade into orange a bit near the top of the flower. Well composed and executed. |

Fireby NeilComment by GIS_boy: I like this but felt a bit disappointed when I saw the flowers. I think this just detracts from the abstract nature of the shot. The colours are great and the effect is very appealing to me also, but a bit too much of the flowers, perhaps. not sure..... |

Sheer Alpsby NeilComment by GIS_boy: This is a very, very appealing photo - I suspect it is so appealing because of the composition. tonal range is very appealing to me, but Bear is certainly the expert there, so I'd listen to him there :) |

Evening Stride 2by NeilComment by GIS_boy: I'm not usually a fan of sillouhettes, but this is a really interesting shot. Colours are nice and subject is cute. Good crop so that the black foreground is minimal and rule of thirds is still maintained. Very nice. |

All Aloneby NeilComment by Jutilda: Wow - what a powerful image. The minimal size of the skiier amidst the grandiose peaks really show man's insignificance. Love this alot!! Creatively speaking, the tiny subject is one of my favorite uses of the landscape as a backdrop. BRAVO |
