Love the bokeh here and the contrast of colors. I like the idea of the brighter area, especially since the stamen are pointing upwards, but agree it might be just a tad too bright... or perhaps it just seems too bright with the darker edges of the shot? Regardless, it's still a lovely shot!

Absolutely beautiful.

Depth of field, or lack of depth, adds so interesting challenges.

I have been doing some similar work with extention tubes. I find the biggest problem is getting anything into focus. The focus ring only adjusts through something like the depth of field, so I end up trying to move the camera back and forth through distances of a couple of mm to get focused.

It is a pain, but the photos are truly worth it.

Love the colours and the bokeh, the detailed stamens are great. I think the hotspot gives more emphasis on the stamens though it seems a little too hot imho

Beautiful bokeh. I like the softness too and those stamens add colour to that bright spot just above them. And that brings me to my nitpick. That bright spot takes away some attention from the flower, my eyes are drawn to it.

This is magical. I really like how you've post processed this. The colors are just right, not overly saturated. You have all this detail, the sharpening looks perfect if you applied any. Appears almost CGI like.

7 - Beautiful colors and scene, but (especially at this size) it 'feels' like the top is chopped off. Really nice lush greenery there and magic reflection... What a beautiful spot.
