I like this it is dreamy and soft, I think this is a theme that you could work on,using different articles. At Camera club we have a "muliple" compitition, You have a theme and have up to 6 images (6x4)
on a common mount. I could see something in this style being a real winner.
I think the lighting is great in this one as well

Well I liked this in the challenge and voted an 8 for it, What I liked was it was all up front and filling the frame and it came out to meet you , sharp and the plumage shows up, Down side was the background it did nothing and was a distraction.A closu up on the owners shouler would have been an option as well.

I think this could have been a real strong entry, but it's way too dark (IMHO). There's really nice detail in the feathers, but the contrast and/or shadows really detract from the image. Also, it would have been nice to see more of the parakeet's eye. You've got some great color going on, and like I said the detail is good too, but it's overall too dark (IMHO). Sorry (4).
