A Battery of Batteriesby kanajComment by chris_u: You've used the most basic ability of the camera to your advantage here, and it's great. I've seldom seen deliberate overexposure work this good. Nice job. I'd just like to see better image quality and maybe better color. |

Sparkler Magicby kanajComment by Amason: b&w is not a good choice for this, it would have been a little better in color. Higher aiming of the camera leaving the light at the bottom outside the frame would have made this simpler and much better. 2 from me, happy new year and good luck. |

Trans fat never looked so good...by kanajComment by kanaj: For what it's worth, and for anyone who might have missed the irony of my title or initial description, I was going for sarcasm here. I got my donuts that particular morning, and they looked so good on the rack, but then when I opened the sack and noticed the amount of grease that had been transferred to the paper, I was mildly disgusted. I always thought these were the LOWER fat donuts...and when I held the thing up to the light and noticed how much it seemed to be glistening, I decided it might make a mildly interesting shot to make an otherwise tasty-looking treat appear less appetizing when you get close enough to realize what's in it. I'm not convinced I succeeded, as the voting seems to indicate. But thanks for everyone's comments! |
