Seems to suffer a bit from the classic "soft cheeks, crisp eyes" that can make things look a bit unnatural. Other than that very nice portrait.

Very cool conplementary colors and shapes between the "eyes" and the feathers. I have to admit though that my personal preferences may clout my judgment and affect how score an image sometimes, I absolutely hate plain backgrounds as it makes images appear to be more "contrived", However the technicals here warrant a decent enough score - 6

Very nicely composed with the pattern of the leaves leading to the center part of the bud. I do think there could have been better control of the light by blocking a little on the left side to get a better exposure throughout.
