Cajun Sunsetby eyeartComment by MelonMusketeer: I also noticed the sharpening. This may be from a setting in your camera menu. If you have your camera set to max sharpening, you can't undo it in processing, but you can always shoot mild and sharpen in processing.
I like the way that the reflection is showing the tree on the island while the dark background hides the actual tree. |

Cajun Sunsetby eyeartComment by Jutilda: Lovely rich orange tones. Love the reflection and I'm always a sucker for a silhouette. |

Cajun Sunsetby eyeartComment by roz: this is absolutely stunning .. the colours are so brilliant and beautiful .. wonderful how you're caught the birds flying too .. my only negative comment which i'm only making coz you asked for it!! .. is that the lines from sharpening are a bit obvious .. altho in saying that i doubt anyone who wasnt in dpc would even notice .!!..:) |

Cajun Sunsetby eyeartComment by david_c: Seems like it could use a slight rotational nudge clockwise. I love the colours and reflections, maybe play with a saturation layer in Photoshop to see if you can reduce the banding around the sun. |

BLUE BAYOUby eyeartComment by MelonMusketeer: The low angle lighting and the reflections are sweet in this one. The water lines on the trees have a lot to do with how this photo effects me as a viewer. It's a very relaxing or soothing photo to look at. Maybe it's because I am quite at home in places like this, and I know how it looks, feels, and smells there. |

BLUE BAYOUby eyeartComment by Jutilda: I loved Linda Ronstadt's version of that song. This certainly has the slow feel of a Louisiana day. :) |
