This is an amazing photograph! I don't have any idea of how to compete with something like this. Two years ago, your photo would have garnered a vote in at least the mid 7s...I can't believe it only scored a 6.8.

@tanguera: I think the weather is better in Finland, but where in Finland is a big factor as the aurora circle goes over part of Finlanda and Norway but covers all Iceland.
Planning, follow the aurora forecast, some luck and then simply go out and stay there. Last week I was out every night for some 4-8 hours, that paid off well.
