This was easy to dismiss because of the lack of sharp clear focus, at least on my monitor. But the light is clear & soft, & as I was gazing at it I fell in love with it. The little bit of green leaf makes a path for my eye to the collar of green under the dandelion, the slight reflection of green, the almost in focus seeds, the strange mauve BG. The luminous white.

I haven't awarded a Gilded Lily in a while. Please accept this offer of my admiration for your work here.

What an odd piece of art. I love that the phone is, as it almost always is, missing.... Poor kid looks pretty dumb standing there for eternity holding an imaginary telephone..

Thanks for the advice. No on the female, must just be a girlish looking boy. Marine Corps boot camp is not co-ed, i believe the other service's military recruit training are thou.
