the texture of the dice seems a little oversharpened and the focus is a tad soft.

great use of color with desaturation, and the action is very nice.

nice use of lighting, though i find myself distracted a little by the contents in the backround.

Excellent work! This shot is very simplistic in nature, but has lots and lots of appeal!. Great colors and shapes, and the soft focus works fantastic with this subject. 10 from me!

I have to tell you...when I first saw this shot I had it pegged (in my mind) for a ribbon...unfortunately you didn't get one.

I noticed you had mixed comments regarding the specular highlights around the pin. I think it helps emphasize the fact that you're actually PRESSING the pin into the balloon...I think it's an excellent touch.

I like the different colored balloons and I feel the yellow balloon was the right choice to have up front.

As far as the shallow DOF goes, I like it...it makes the pin/yellow balloon the focus of the image rather than something secondary.

This photo didn't look soft in the thumbnail to me.....yet, on further investigation I find it is very soft....the colors are muted and the feel is nice....I like it!

Superior high contrast. - I love the minimal components to the image. A great martini glass w/ the greenish splash of drink. I like the way it is held by the silhouette hand, and the unusual view of interaction of the hand with the glass, also the connection of the hand to the graphic top and bottom rectangles which frame and lock the image. I think it is good design.
