I think the comment you just received nailed it on the head! I was just writing at the same time he did, that I suspect most people thought this was DNMC. Very few people in the DPC community would know that this famous Liverpool landmark is known for the pair of birds on the building.

I think this would have done better if you changed your crop. I would have cropped the other clock out...since not many people know the location (at least i dont), its hard to tell that this is really showing half of the bldgs... just my 2c

I think you did a good job with the reflection, pity the window washer is in the frame, although I suppose it does highlight the size of the buildings. If it was a bright sunny day (I know, a rarity in Liverpool!) I would be tempted to leave this in colour. Right choice to convert to B&W if it's a normal grey day.
