Good Points: nice & creative, well framed and interesting
Bad Points:none really ;) altho I don't expect it to do well with the DPC clean voters.

A negative revealed...by Apollo2077Comment by Neuferland: Talk about over exposured! I'm guessing it's a flashlight behind the negative to help with the lighting, the center shot of yellow is sadly, very distracting. The sides and negative itself is well done, but the coloring just seems a bit off to me. Starting with a 6, will be back to think about it again. |

Super Mat.... Here to save the world (or at least Brighton), taken just as he's flying off....by Apollo2077Comment by OneSweetSin: Critique Club
This had the potential to be a super entry into the flight challenge but your choice of how to crop it created a very weak entry. The photo comes across as being very boring in the state that it is right now. You placed your subject in the center of the frame so that you could capture the pier as well as the buildings. Had you cropped it differently it would have improved the entire image. There is to much nothing at the top and the pier as pretty as it is doesn't do much for the shot. Cropping out some of the blue sky and most of the pier would greatly improve on this.
Also pay more attention to the little details. You can easily crop out your shadow from the corner.
As for meeting the challenge, you did do that nicely with a little touch of humor. I enjoyed the refreshing comedy of this photo. Nice attempt at the challenge. |

I dreamt I was on a Greek island again......by Apollo2077Comment by Firstrich1: funny title:) not sure of your subject though. the light used seems a bit harsh and when I think in terms of the light source as being the moon in the background I wonder if you could have cast light from behind giving the village more shadow. or used a softer light source up front...like a candle? |
