For this picture, I took some minature Greek houses I got from ebay (don't ask) and set them up to look like a village on a Greek island, then i drew the sky, sun and some birds using the paint program on my computer, printed it, and then blue tacked it on the wall!

I do wish I was there...... I often dream about it!

Fun idea. You created a little Greek scene here!

funny title:) not sure of your subject though. the light used seems a bit harsh and when I think in terms of the light source as being the moon in the background I wonder if you could have cast light from behind giving the village more shadow. or used a softer light source up front...like a candle?

I didn't mean to offend you with my original comment. This was more than 2 years ago. I meant no harm. Sorry.

Cute title, adding the background was a nice touch, but if that's the sun, then the lighting is all off, if it's the moon, then the lighting is too bright. I think that is what is throwing me off overall, is the brightness of the photo, to reality based, if it had a softer focus and a lower lighting I probably would have scored much higher on this one.

Strangely compelling. Good lighting. 7.

Intriguing buildings - they look like they're made of spun sugar! Don't Greek crosses have two crossbars?

Lovely idea, the moon especially. The birds are a bit hard to make out though, and the lighting on the town is a bit harsh, resulting in a bit of glare. The colours aren't quite vibrant enough. Great atmosphere and feel though. 6

I would not have gotten what this image was of, without the title. I do like the sun and birds in the background. Nice DOF too.
