kind of fun adding all the different layers isn't it...take something that is hum drum and make it into something interesting that makes you stop and look at the picture more deeply cause you think you see something else surely...

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I like this image a lot, I feel placed at the scene, part of it - and a little furtive as a result. The tones combined with the glowing highlights give it an otherworldly feel; rather reminiscent of a 'B' science fiction movie. I get the sense an alien body snatcher is about to walk into the scene at any moment! Movie feeling aside, the architecture is interesting - those distant windows hold the eye very well.

Critical stuff: Nothing at all.

Overall: Very nicely made indeed.

Yeah. I like htis. Street photography isn't normally associated with overlays/textures, but here that approach works wonders.
