stormy nightby daisydavidComment by roz: hey john .. how about the storms we've been having ?
i can still hear the thunder but its passed by where i live .. i pull out all the leads to my computer and modem when its a big one .. i've lost two modems and the phone line twice in big thunder storms .. the one that just passed should be in sydney soon .. hope you're prepared .. !!

stormy nightby daisydavidComment by nixter: I can hear the rain falling
...I really can! It's been raining here all afternoon! : )
okay, so you're parked in a forrest, in the middle of nowhere, on a rainy night, and there's a car approaching...
may have something to do with that letter that's reflected in the windshield...

Viva Valiantby daisydavidComment by sjhuls: This overlay really works with this photo. I like how it takes the focus off of the distracting elements around it and helps us focus right on the car. |

Viva Valiantby daisydavidComment by Kelli: Heh! We also had one of these when I was a kid. We used to ride in the back, practically hanging out, playing hand/slap type games (Miss Mary Mac). |

Viva Valiantby daisydavidComment by Jutilda: HA HA We had a '64 Valiant. This was when the "compact car" first came about. After those huge boats, they were quite "controversial." This is a later model, but I still laugh because ours had that funky fake tire thing on the back. With it being white, it looked like a "potty seat," and that was the car's nickname.
I love how this reminds me of something in my past and I can convey a story to you. Love your edit. The starburst on the chrome of the light is a terrific touch. I like the perspective too, like we are about to hover over the car. I'm having such fun. I see you are too. |
