Spanning Timeby LucidLotusComment by muur88: stunning. man on one side and nature on the other, and yet everything seems so balanced. i think the tone of the leaves at the bottom left really makes the shot work. of course the perfect technique didn't hurt either. |

Thumbelina's Gardenby LucidLotusComment by Catherine_B: I wish this were in color, it would have more impact and tie to your excellent title better. Can you please post the color version in your portfolio as I would like to see the difference. - 5 |

Thumbelina's Gardenby LucidLotusComment by Artifacts: Nice B&W. Sprouts make a curious surrealistic world that works well for this challenge. Exposure is good. Full range of tones.
The white objects in a line are mostly out of focus draw but strongly draw attention. What they are and their purpose is unknown and are major distractions. It could be legitimately argued that in a fantasy world you won;t understand all things, but viewers will not buy that with those objects and it will hurt the overal score of this image. There is background some noise that should be removed. |

Thumbelina's Gardenby LucidLotusComment by skief: I'm a sucker for b&w's, and this one has lots of interest in it. I do think the DOF could be a little larger to really help me find something to focus on. 6 |

Life Through Aged Eyesby LucidLotusComment by Shannon: I see what you were going for here, but it doesn't work for me. Would like to have a tad more focus to make out the figures a bit more. Just my opinion though. |

Life Through Aged Eyesby LucidLotusComment by smilebig4me1x: 2nd pass to make comments...great take on the challenge. i dont usually care for noise in a photo but in this case it adds to the image. excellent use of B&W.*9* voted a 10 for above reasons and a bump for creativity |

Thumbelina's Gardenby LucidLotusComment by Evaan: You're right! That IS Thumbalina's garden! I like the softness of the photo...adds to the mood, and I like all the curvy sprout-like things. Personally, I wish it was in color. This particular black and white treatment doesn't move me. That said, I still do like the photo. |
