I gave this a 7. I was pissed at people using brushstroke filters (seemed too easy), but I liked the quality of the light in this shot, particularly the way it shined through that woman's hat. That made the whole shot for me.

This would remind one of the "Boat at GIverny" by Monet. It would seem that the photo was taken in the harsh afternoon light, which is a pity as I believe it detracts from an otherwise very pleasant image. Good luck to you in the challenge.

Wow this is very different from the others, I love the composition you used here its spot on or me! The lady with the hat and umbrella made this shot, nice use of effects as well really gives a painterly feel in to it and yet I still get a sense that its a photograph, which some of the otheres entries don't and being a photography challenge I wanted to see more of! Good luck!

Very traditional subject. Would have been better if there was only one boat in the picture. I'm also not a fan of the effect applied here.

Not sure what to make of your photo during voting (6). Could not quite figure out what you did to it. But the result was no unappealing. Just out of the ordinary. Keep up the good work.
