As I said I liked this image a lot and gave it a 7. Tones in the background are nice. Brings out the face. There is a potential point of 'concern' for people voting whereby they may justify bringing it down as a result of loss of detail/textures in the face, and as it's a little difficult to find the edge of the nose. Eyes are nice. Not overdone. Nice detail in the iris. Sharpness is great.
A 7 is a good score. I can't fault it :) But nor could I vote it higher as it didn't have that zing that I think a photo needs to get higher for me.

I really dig this one- stark post- impressionist but still austere, wonderful lighting; perfect placement of the umbrellas. great wood texture- a fine entry!

Really nice shot! My only suggestion would be to add a bit of space between the two umbrellas so they're not touching.
