great timing, nice capture. i think, though, you could really benefit from putting 2-3 thousand dollars into equipment upgrades. you are really asking a bit too much from that slow lens (f/4?) you need f/2.8 if you want to get action like this razor sharp. i just happen to know of a mint condition canon 300mm f/2.8L that normally retails for $3700 for about $2700--let me know if you're interested...

oh, i REALLY like this and hope it does well. as for the challenge, you absolutely nailed it. i probably would have scored this an 8, but i'm giving this a 10 just to help offset the rough voting that i've seen in this challenge. good luck, hope to see this on the front page!
