At Restby KelliComment by gwe21: at first glance this photo really pops. After I look at it further, I cant put my finger on it. It appears to be either over sharpened or maybe some type of filter effect applied to it. It looks more "cartoonish" to me, and I am not sure if that was the effect you were going for? |

This works well for a wilty flower shot.

At Restby KelliComment by Tammer: Striking colors. The purple flowes however look more illustrative than photographic due to post-processing. Bit over sharpened for my tastes, but good composition. |

Bee & Petalsby KelliComment by Tlemetry: Bees aren't mean, just very protective.
Bees only have one stinger and they die once they do, so they don't want to sting unless its the last resort.
Wasps on the other hand are mean! They regrow their stingers so they have no qualms about using it!
I love the fuzzy hairs on this fat little worker bee. So cute! |
