Kelli, when reducing your images before uploading, are you using Bicubic Sharper? That helps maintain sharpness in reductions.

Very, very good capture. . . yours too! This is a unique image. It does appear to be somewhat soft.

I am not the computer expert, but your new computer may need a calibration, color sync, or gamma match. What's going on is correctable. If you look through the threads there are any number of tutorials that will get you straightened out.

These leaves make wonderful subjects when the sun is shining through them and you photograph them from behind. I have the same type plant growing in my yard, but don't know what it is called. The contrasting lines are fun to work with using different photographing techniques.

Kinda hard to find a particular part of this photo to focus on. Too much going on, and my eyes aren't sure where to look first. They are pretty flowers, though.
