I didnt get to vote on this challenge (I so wish I could have). I would have scored this a 6-7. Very cool shot - I wish I had hippos at our zoo. Great focus and detail on him overall and cool colors. I think my only issue is the cropping out of the eye onthe left. I think I would have liked to have seen all of it in the shot which may have given you more of his cool snout as well. Overall - good stats (a 6 would have been better and more appropriate IMO) and only having 5 votes 3 and under is great. Nice work here.

Tough challenge to shoot for and vote in. I think you met the challenge overall but this shot lacked any wow power. Nice greens but the blur focus seems off of where it might need to be. Not really sure how else to comment on this one.

I gave this a 6 in challenge. Maybe a bit blurry rather than soft focus, but there were several aspects of this that I did like. The angle of the boy and his placement in the pic work well. The colors are nice both on the boy and the background. I think your score was too low - this should have easily broke 5.
