Alan's Psychedelic Breakfastby soupComment by smyk: very cool, but like someone said earlier, the crop is a little off. The plate shouldn't be vut off in my opinion. Good work though. I like the idea. What is the pig made of? |

Marble Madnessby soupComment by ralph: a number of interesting concepts - some of which i've tried (to much less success ;)
my biggest problem with the image is the darkness of the marble does not enhance the grid but detracts from the whole pattern
i really like the abstracts in the grid - and may have to investigate that futher myself ;)

Thirstyby soupComment by macrothing: Certainly unusual - do like this, especially the nose, like the unusual eyes, which grow on you the more you look at it (in my opinion), but that 'right' one.. the 'bokeh effect' - perhaps dominates a little too much - but perhaps that is one of the 'draw cards' for you with this. |

Pom Pomsby soupComment by macrothing: Good unique image - like the concept. 'If only' the fore pom pom a little more in focus, and of course that paw not chopped. Nice movement capture. |

Marble Madnessby soupComment by ralfw: This shot is very interesting to me technically - meaning I really like the way the marble is bending the screen from it's weight. Reminds me of the models that represent the bending of space and time.
Artistically, if the subject, the marble, were fully in frame and lighter (brighter) than it is, perhaps looking like it was lit from the inside, I would easily give this shot a 7 or 8. That would have added the needed 'wow' punch for me. As the shot is currently set up, I would have voted this a 6.
Hope that helps! |

Marble Madness IIby soupComment by violinist123: Centered vertically and moved slightly more to the left and I think it would look perfect. It's very abstract. Abstracts do not do well on DPC. You should feel good about how well it scored. |
